About Us
The history of Rome Luxury Suites begins in the 18th century with the development of an artist's colony in today's premier luxury-shopping district. In 1855 my great grand-father, the Marquis Francesco Patrizi, built a palace on Via Margutta 54 and provided studios for artists to live and work. Pablo Picasso, Igor Stravinsky, and the famous Italian opera composer Giacomo Puccini produced some of their greatest works in these studios in the early 1900s.
Today, Via Margutta, Via Mario de' Fiori and Via Babuino are among the most enchanting streets in Rome. Here local artisans mix with chic boutiques, art galleries, and lively restaurants to bring alive the years of the "Dolce Vita". We created three distinct properties, combining the rich history of this prestigious neighborhood with contemporary Italian style, to offer tastefully appointed, spacious suites to the discerning traveler.
