“A refuge for the discerning traveler”

Semperviatorv - Seattle, Washington

This small hotel, tucked away near the Piazza di Spagna, on Mario de’ Fiori is a gem. Superb, quiet location, well appointed, spotlessly clean rooms and generous size bathrooms, friendly and helpful personnel, knowledgeable and discerning concierge service. Wifi. Every room with a Nespresso machine and a large selection of pods. Breakfast at the nearby sister hotel Babuino, about 3 min walk. For the discriminating traveller who prefers small hotels.

“Luxurious hotel made perfect by the staff”

GS - London, United Kingdom

Small, charming and luxurious are phrases to describe this boutique hotel. We only had one night here but its central location meant that we were able to make the most of our visit. “Amazing hotel in fabulous location”

Whitney Delavaut - Vero beach, California

We absolutely loved staying at Mario de' Fiori 37! The location is absolutely perfect for those looking to stay in the heart of Rome but on a fairly quiet street! You are just steps away from the Spanish Steps and close to amazing restaurants and the BEST shopping (Chanel, Gucci, Dior, etc). We walked everywhere from here (Coliseum, Pantheon, etc.) but it is also very easy to get a cab (the hotel will get right at the door for you). Our suite was very spacious…Read More

Our suite was very spacious and had a large fabulous bathroom with a big tub and nice shower! The bed was comfortable and we have great views from our room! The staff could not have been more accommodating and spoke perfect English! Great for couples and families! We cannot wait to come back and stay here!

"Beautiful boutique hotel in an amazing location"

Carryon - Singapore

This lovely boutique hotel is situated just moments from the Spanish steps and close to luxury brand stores. The convenient location means easy access to taxis and is minutes walk from attractions such as the Trevi Fountain. Our room on the second floor was spacious and featured a fairly large bathroom, with separate toilet. The room contains it's own Nespresso machine and a wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. Would definitely stay here again.

“Amazing luxury and service”

Yoeyreid79 - Reigate, United Kingdom

We stayed for 2 nights and didn't want to leave. We stayed in the rooftop suite, which was pure luxury with amazing space. Teodora on the front desk was beyond helpful and couldn't do more to help with recommendations to restaurants and friendly chat. We would not stay anywhere else when we return.

I agree with all who have praised this hidden boutique hotel for all the modern comforts of any hotel that we have stayed in here or in the States. "Teo" and "Micki" couldn't have been more accommodating in every need or suggestion we had for them. We felt as though they were our private concierges during our stay. Thank you both for a great week stay in Rome. Sorry we ran off with the keys to the room!! Great excuse to have to come back. Though this review is to praise this property, I have to say "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" were right on with this suggestion as well as others we used throughout our trip to France and Italy.

“Our best hotel stay in Italy”

eatdessertfirst - Portland, Oregon

After a little over two weeks in Italy, Rome was our last stop and Mario de' Fiori was by far the best hotel of our entire trip. The rooms were clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated. The reception was helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the shopping district and a short stroll from the Spanish Steps. “Lovely boutique hotel”

Erinmglenn - New York City, New York

My husband and I spent three nights here this March. The staff was welcoming and accommodating-- they had excellent recommendations for meals and sights - and the room was modern and impeccably clean. Highlights included the in-room Nespresso machine (key for those of us who need morning coffee asap) and the separate toilet and bathroom. Proximity to the Spanish steps was also wonderful. Only seven rooms here, so guests feel very prioritized.

“Location, location, location”

Supernick London - London, United Kingdom

Rome is such an amazing city with culture, sights, food and wine everywhere you look. What a shame to lock yourselves away in a bland chain hotel! At MF you feel like you are living right in the thick of this amazing city. You can just pop out your door and be at the Spanish Steps in less than 2 minutes. On a long day of sight seeing it is nice to be able to pop back to your room and refresh, ready for the next leg!

MF is located in the heart of ancient Rome, just off one of the premier shopping streets. It is central yet peaceful.

We stayed in the rooftop suite, which was wonderful. The size of most apartments, it was luxurious yet had loads of character. The bathroom was huge! Some very nice touches such as the Nespresso machine.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the room was serviced thoroughly whenever we chose.

Overall, if you want to immerse yourself in the true splendor of this fantastic city, and be right at the heart of all the action, this is the place to stay.

We stayed for only 2 nights in this beautiful little gem - located a stone throw from Spanish Steps in a picturesque cobbled lane - it was truly a wonderful experience and an example of how revised and updated concept of tourist hospitality should look like! We stayed for only 2 nights in this beautiful little gem - located a stone throw from Spanish Steps in a picturesque cobbled lane - it was truly a wonderful experience and an example of how revised and updated concept of tourist hospitality should look like! We especially liked the fact that the establishment was stripped down from all the superfluous stuff - breakfast, bars, restaurants - as it is carved out of an old building and they rightly went for making spacious rooms rather than adding a kitchen and dining space - there is a wealth of small, gorgeous cafes and restaurants right outside the entrance door, all tested and tried by helpful and friendly staff.

The details of architectural renovation were simply lovely - tasteful and preserving the old air of it while adding that unmistakable touch of modern design Italians are so famous for. The staff was unfussy, straightforward and relaxed while being friendly and helpful, especially Theodora. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and beautifully outfitted, especially the bathroom. Wi-Fi and Internet connection worked flawlessly and TV was appropriately big for such a spacious room. Good selection of channels and easy language changing (Italians dub all the shows) - and our son appreciated the Disney Channel being available :-))

We will definitely come back to this lovely hotel!
