"Perfect" Trip Advisor

Babuino 181 was a perfect base for our 5 night visit to Rome celebrating my husband's 50th birthday.
It's perfectly situated in the stylish center of Rome, near the Spanish Steps and within walking distance of all the major sights. There are shops and restaurants all around so it's easy to find somewhere to eat or drink in the evening and to enjoy an after dinner stroll in.
Our room was a deluxe room, which was a good size, with everything that we needed and plenty of storage, with a nicely hidden away nook with hanging space, drawers and a safe, so that we didn't have to look at our suitcase all week long.
The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful and the whole process of booking, arriving, paying was very smooth and easy. We booked the airport transfer to and from the airport, which was 60 euros each time, but worth it for the door to door service.
Our room was stylish, modern, comfortable and we couldn't have asked for more. It is on a noisy and busy street and we were woken by car alarms on a few occasions ( we were on the 3rd floor). However, in the center of a major city, we didn't really expect it to be quiet and were usually tired out by a day of sightseeing and so slept through most of it.
Breakfast is served in your room, which suited us well, as it arrives within 5-10 minutes of picking up the phone to order it. We ordered a 'diet' and a 'continental' and shared, which gave us orange juice, coffee, fresh fruit salad, croissants, bread, muesli and yogurt.
I found this hotel through trip advisor after much searching and have absolutely no regrets. We had the holiday of a lifetime.
